Hybrid Working (3/2)
A mid to senior level opening working with a rapidly expanding Software Provider who undertake projects in the utilities sector.
We’re looking for a data driven analyst with hands on ability in SQL query writing and ideally an understanding of data migration processes. Experience in gap analysis, wireframing and testing will also be important here.
Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:
• Running analysis projects and assessing processes based on data analytics
• Understand and document current and future business processes
• Maintain the quality of IT services and products
• Installing elements of systems design, including wireframes, business rules, data migration rules and other detailed deliverables
• Prepare training literature and materials to speed up processes
• Facilitating the discussion of requirements among stakeholders
• Reporting to business leaders and stakeholders
• Gathering intelligence about needs and future growth
Skills Sought for the BA:
• Advanced Excel skills
• Any knowledge of SQL or data migration tools
• Any knowledge of the industry (Power, Gas desirable)
• Highly desirable – testing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to organise meetings and prepare clear software documentations
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find solutions for technical challenges
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Excellent data analysis skills
