Engineering Lead- cloud practice
Fully Remote
A chance to join a highly successful UK wide IT Consultancy to drive and grow the cloud practice. In this hands-on role you’ll provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring as well as growing the practice and owning the delivery assurance process.
Key responsibilities for the role are:
- Provide technical advice and best practice to Consultants across cloud based engagements
- To lead and expand the practice within the Professional Services Go To Market
- Take ownership of Practice Resourcing and skills management
- Determine best training paths for Consultants within Practice, comprising of both technical and non-technical training
- Work with clients stakeholders to for their digital and cloud agenda, understand client business challenges and needs
- Define, implement, and monitor standards and practices for standardised Cloud engagements
Skills and experience required
- Extensive experience within enterprise IT consultancy in a lead capacity
- Experience with and a passion for people and line-management, training, and mentoring
- Azure certification : (AZ300, AZ 301, AZ500, etc.)
- Familiar with Azure or AWS Cloud Competencies, Programs, and initiatives
- Understanding of DevOps practices, Kubernetes, CI/CD
- Evidence of thought leadership / leading innovation
- Understanding or background in data engineering
