NAV Solution Architect – Perm – End User – Upto £100k + Benefits.
Agile Recruit are currently searching for a Senior NAV Solutions Architect to join an end user on a large upgrade project.
As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a large-scale NAV Upgrade project from NAV 2013 to the latest version of Business Central including all add-ons, along with working closely with the Head of IT & Partner Development team to ensure that the Development team have the required skills & knowledge as well as an understanding of the best practices need to be employed around solution designs.
A solid understanding of NAV 2013 & later versions with associated technologies is essential for this role.
You will be a champion for technical solutions on the Microsoft platform with a keen understanding of Dynamics NAV development practices, and a good knowledge of other development techniques.
Provide capability to develop sector-specific templates to enhance the out of the box Dynamics NAV functionality, giving a unique selling point and also a resaleable asset
Work closely with the architecture team to design and develop our most complex customer needs, providing development only where these requirements cannot be met through configuration, creating high quality and sustainable project documentation
Deliver the full upgrade process according to documented project methodology, ensuring that all software applications are implemented successfully according to the project plan
Meet and exceed customer expectations of business knowledge, skills and behaviour
Identify business/project risk and mitigate or communicate as necessary
Communicate progress updates to relevant parties both formally and informally
Support practice development activities such as defining and configuring industry-specific templates
Represent the business professionally and positively at all times.
The Perfect Candidate will have:-
- Extensive experience with Dynamics NAV up to the latest versions
- Broad Dynamics NAV module understanding covering all core modules and additional add-on solutions
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Direct experience in consultancy and solution architecture with experience of delivering the full project lifecycle
- Track record of Senior Dynamics NAV implementation experience
- Knowledge of NAV implementation and end to end implementation
- Experience with NAV interfacing and integration
- Expertise in gathering technical requirement
- Beneficial to know Agile and Sure Step methodologies
- Experience in other technologies such as D365, SQL, PowerBI, SSAS, SharePoint along with knowledge of Azure, LCS, and .Net;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with well-developed interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to colleagues and Board Members.
- Strong personal organisation and time management skills
- You will have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a problem-solving approach
- You will be a team player, able to communicate with peers and able to escalate issues where appropriate
