AWS Cloud Practitioner Job Profile

AWS Cloud Practitioners design and develop cloud-based solutions for companies to enable them to gain as much benefit from AWS as possible.

AWS Cloud Practitioners are in high demand across a variety of industries, as more and more businesses are realising the benefits that working with the AWS Cloud can bring them.

Being an AWS Cloud Practitioner means being prepared that one day will be very different from the next. It is a hugely varied occupation with day to day tasks depending on your background, experience and level of expertise.

Jobs will be available all over the UK, and globally, with companies in all sectors.

It is usually an office-based role, with a large amount of time being spent at a desk. However, you will be encouraged to learn as much about the business you are working for as you can so that you can help identify how AWS can be used to solve their problems.

AWS Cloud Practitioner Job Requirements

You will need a range of coding and technical skills, along with a strong knowledge of cloud computing and AWS if you want to become a Cloud Practitioner.

You’ll need to be:
technically minded with an understanding of Cloud computing
a good communicator with the ability to liaise with both management and users analytically minded and adaptable
good at solving problems
able to prioritise your work and meet deadlines
an excellent leader (if you are applying for senior roles)
