Business Intelligence Analysts are responsible for gathering business data in various ways, including looking at competitor data and industry trends and mining all of the internal data available.
Once they have collated all of this data, the Business Intelligence Analyst will develop a picture of the company’s competitiveness compared to other players in the same market, while also suggesting solutions for improvement.
Business Intelligence Analyst Job Requirements
If you want to apply for Business Intelligence Analyst jobs you need to have:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance or something similar
Skills in SQL development, data analysis and integration, and performance tuning
Knowledge of technology such as C#, MEAN Stack, Power BI, SAS, Sharepoint and VSTO
Knowledge of investment analyst tools such as Bloomberg and FactSet
The ability to read code and support applications, reports and processes
