Developers are responsible for several Java-related duties throughout the software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. The Java developer will be required to create user information solutions by developing and implementing Java-based components and interfaces and maintaining these solutions.
Java Developer Job Requirements
Java Developers need an extensive range of skills, with some of the key ones being:
Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering or a related field.
At least three years of experience in Java 1.6 or above, with a good understanding of its ecosystems.
A solid working knowledge of the HTTP protocol, XML parsing and generation, and web services.
Exposure to web application frameworks such as Angular, jQuery and Prototype.
Demonstratable ability to pick up new programming languages and become productive.
Sound knowledge of the concepts and patterns of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
